Doris Dev developed the Loftie Lamp, an AC-powered night light with a stylish and mature aesthetic. The lamp emits a warm amber light, controlled by a touch switch and equipped with light-sensing technology. Ensuring a long lifespan, it operates on AC 110-240V with a US plug and meets UL 1786 and 8750 standards. Doris Dev also managed the packaging in a Loftie-branded color box and oversaw production of 10,000 units.

Smart Connectivity, Custom Sunrise Mode, and Dimmable Warm Lighting
As we designed the Loftie Lamp, we wanted to ensure it met all requirements, including WiFi and Bluetooth LE connectivity, RGBW LED options with cold and warm light settings, and Alexa and Google Home compatibility. We developed a customizable sunrise mode that begins 20 minutes before wake-up, gradually increasing light intensity and transitioning from pink to warm glow. Additionally, the lamp functions as a regular bedside lamp with 2700k warm light, controlled by an on/off button and dimmable via a variation button.

Sleek Lamp Design with Programmable Sunrise Mode and Concealed Fixings
Our engineering considerations for this product included adding screw covers to conceal fixing screws at the top and bottom, enhancing the product's aesthetics. The first version (V1) of the design was 3D printed for testing. A key feature is the programmable sunrise mode, which can be customized through the app, gradually increasing light intensity over 20 minutes to simulate a sunrise. Additionally, the lamp functions as a regular dimmable bedside lamp with a warm 2700k light, controlled by an on/off and variation button for adjusting brightness.
